Library Services

 

  • Books: Fiction, Non-Fiction, large print, children's, and reference. Books are checked out for four weeks and can be renewed. There is $.05/day late fee charge for overdue books.
  • Magazine collection, including many popular periodicals. Magazines are checked out for one week and can be renewed. There is a $.05/day late fee charge for overdue magazine.
  • Automated card catalog and check-out.  
  • Computers and Internet access through OPLIN. Eight public access computers available.
  • Informational Databases, some of which are available through remote access
  • Interlibrary Loan. Many books from across the state can be borrowed. There is no cost for receiving books borrowed from other libraries.
  • E-books and audio e-books. These are available on our on-line catalog.
  • Books on tape and CD. The books on tape are leased and a part of the collection is rotated every three months. The books on CD are purchased by the library and will always be available. These items are checked out for four weeks and can be renewed. There is $.05/day late fee charged for overdue tapes and CD's.
  • Video tapes and DVD's, including many new releases. All video tapes and DVD's, except the newest, are checked out for one week and can be renewed. The newest releases are checked out for two days and are not renewed.  There is a $1.00/day late fee charged for overdue videos.
  • Fax service: receive or send your faxes. It costs $1.00/page to send a FAX and $.15/page to receive one. There will not be a charge for local or toll-free calls.
  • Copies: copies cost $.15/page.
  • Board of Elections' Voter Registration
  • Golden Buckeye Registration Cards
  • Laminating: wallet size costs $.50, regular page size costs $1.00/page and extra large menu size costs $1.50/page.
  • Ellison machine: This is a very simple machine which uses dies to cut paper, cardboard, fun foam and other art supplies. The library owns a wide variety of dies. Call the library for more information about this and to check on available dies. There is no fee for using this machine.
